Here’s a kid-friendly chicken Caesar wrap recipe that’s easy to make and fun to eat!
Ingredients:
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or chicken tenders)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 4 whole wheat or flour tortillas
- 1 cup Caesar dressing (light dressing or homemade for a healthier option)
- 1 ½ cups romaine lettuce (washed and chopped)
- ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- Optional: croutons (for a little crunch!)
Instructions:
-
Cook the chicken:
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Season the chicken breasts or tenders with salt and pepper, and cook them for about 5-6 minutes per side until they are cooked through and golden brown.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing it into bite-sized pieces.
-
Prepare the wrap ingredients:
- While the chicken is cooking, wash and chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces.
- Grate or measure out your Parmesan cheese.
-
Assemble the wraps:
- Lay the tortillas flat on a clean surface.
- Drizzle a little Caesar dressing in the middle of each tortilla.
- Add a handful of chopped lettuce on top of the dressing.
- Add the cooked chicken pieces and top with Parmesan cheese.
- If using croutons, sprinkle a few on top for extra crunch.
-
Roll it up:
- Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it up tightly like a burrito.
-
Serve and enjoy:
- Slice the wrap in half, if desired, and serve immediately.
This recipe is customizable, so feel free to adjust it based on your kids’ tastes. You can even swap the dressing for a yogurt-based one if you want a lighter option!
